Terms of Use
Last updated 29 October 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Vectorsoft (“we”, “us”) for the HyperScanner app. They apply alongside Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which governs your licence to apps from the App Store; where the two differ, Apple's agreement prevails. By installing or using HyperScanner you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.
Your licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use HyperScanner on Apple devices that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service. You may not copy, sell, rent or sub-licence the app, and you may not reverse engineer it except to the extent the law gives you that right regardless of this clause.
Your documents are yours
We claim no rights over anything you scan or produce in HyperScanner. The app runs entirely on your device and we receive no copy of your files. You are responsible for having the right to copy the documents you scan.
Subscriptions
HyperScanner offers an auto-renewing subscription, available weekly, monthly or yearly. The price for your country is shown in the app before you confirm.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase, or when a free trial ends.
- The subscription renews automatically for the same period at the same price, unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
- Your Apple Account is charged for the renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends.
- You can manage your subscription or turn off auto-renew in the Settings app, under your name → Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel it.
- Any unused part of a free trial, where one is offered, is forfeited if you buy a subscription during the trial.
- Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us, at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Prices may change. Apple will tell you before a new price applies to your subscription and, where Apple's rules or the law require it, ask you to agree to it first. You can cancel before a new price takes effect.
What the app does, and what you must still check
HyperScanner finds the edges of a page, straightens it, cleans it up and recognizes its text automatically. Each of those steps can get something wrong: an edge in the wrong place, a word misread, a faint mark lost. Before you rely on a scan, or send it to anyone, look through it.
No warranty
HyperScanner is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranty that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose, and we disclaim all implied warranties.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss of data, profit, business or reputation, arising out of your use of HyperScanner. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the app in the twelve months before the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Where you deal as a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.
Ending the agreement
You may stop using HyperScanner and delete it at any time. We may end this licence if you breach these terms materially. Your subscription, if you have one, continues to be governed by Apple's terms until it ends.
Apple
Apple is not a party to this agreement and has no obligation to provide support for HyperScanner. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you. Any claim about the app being faulty, or about it infringing someone's rights, is ours to answer and not Apple's, to the extent the law allows.
Changes
We may update these terms. The current version always appears in the app and at hyperscannerpdf.com/terms, with its date at the top. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the new version.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and the courts of Malaysia have jurisdiction — except where the law of your own country of residence gives you the right to bring proceedings there.
