Privacy Policy
Last updated 29 October 2026
HyperScanner is made by Vectorsoft, in Malaysia. This policy covers the HyperScanner app and hyperscannerpdf.com.
The short version: we do not collect anything. There is no account to create, no server your scans are sent to, and no analytics in the app or on the website.
Your documents
Every page you scan or import is processed on your own device: finding the page edges, cleaning it up and recognizing its text all happen there. Nothing is sent to us or to anyone else. We never see your documents, and neither does any third party through us.
Your documents are kept inside the app on your device until you delete them. Like other app data, they are included in your device backup if you have backups turned on. A PDF leaves the app only when you export or share it, and it goes where you send it.
Camera and photos
The camera is used only while you are scanning, and only to take the pages you scan. When you add photos, iOS shows its own picker and gives the app only the photos you choose; the app cannot see the rest of your library.
What we collect
Nothing. Specifically, the app contains no analytics, no advertising identifiers, no crash reporting of its own, no contact list access and no location access. It never sends your documents, or anything about you, to us. It goes online only to ask the App Store about your subscription and to open a page you tap: Support opens hyperscannerpdf.com/support, which is served as described under This website, and links to Apple's pages open in Safari.
Subscriptions
If you buy a subscription, the purchase is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. Your payment details are given to Apple, not to us, and we never see or store them. Apple tells the app whether a subscription is currently active so it can unlock the paid features. Apple gives us sales and subscription reports, which identify subscribers only by a random ID Apple assigns, never by name or Apple Account. If you have chosen in iOS Settings to share analytics with app developers, Apple also gives us crash reports and usage statistics that do not identify you. Apple's handling of that transaction is covered by Apple's privacy policy.
This website
hyperscannerpdf.com is a set of static pages. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics and loads nothing from other companies. Our host, Cloudflare, processes the ordinary technical information any web server receives — your IP address, the page requested, your browser's user-agent — in order to serve the page and to protect it against attack. We do not use that information to build any profile of you, and we do not combine it with anything else.
If you write to us, we keep your message so we can answer it and so we can recognise a follow-up. We do not add you to any mailing list and we do not pass your address to anyone.
Children
HyperScanner collects no personal information from anyone, children included.
Your rights
Because we hold no personal data about you, there is in almost every case nothing for us to show you, correct or erase. If you have emailed us and want that correspondence deleted, ask and we will delete it. Under Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010, and under the GDPR where it applies to you, you may also complain to your data protection authority.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will appear in the app and at hyperscannerpdf.com/privacy with a new date at the top. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
